The heart and soul of The Bexley Education Foundation lies in its grant giving capabilities. The BEF was founded on the premise that the quest for excellence sometimes requires programs for which public funds are either not available or cannot be spent. The main source of revenue for grants is the Annual Fund.

The 2007-2008 Annual Fund Campaign will finish up on June 30, 2008. Co-chairs Jon Meyer, BHS '86 and Craig Halliday, BHS '85 have put together a highly successful campaign and have already exceeded their goal of raising $140,000. It's not too late to give, however, and all donors who contribute to the Annual Fund before June 30 will be recognized in BEF's IMPACT newsletter in Fall 2008.

Both Jon and Craig are members of the Foundation's Board of Governors and have served on numerous committees. They know the importance of the Grants Program and the Foundation's mission to continue to make programs of excellence possible through private funding so that the quality of education we have come to expect from the Bexley schools continues.

Please explore our Web site to read about the Grants Program and how you can make a gift to the 2007-2008 Annual Fund. With your help, The Bexley Education Foundation can continue to help "raise the bar" for better learning in the Bexley schools.
