BEXLEY COMMUNITY BOOK CLUB RELATED EVENTS

We are excited about the number of people who are continuing to delve into the works of Pete Hamill in preparation for his visit to Bexley on April 30. Due to the number of people who would like to participate in discussions of Hamill's works and in order to accommodate various schedules, we have revised the schedule of our meeting dates and books.

All discussions are to take place at Barnes & Noble at Easton in the café.

APRIL
1 7:30 - 9:00 pm: Book Discussion - North River
 
11 10:30 - 11:00 am: Book Discussion - North River (alternate date if unable to meet on April 1)
      
18 Internet talk show host Kacey Kowars to meet with Bexley High School students to discuss Pete Hamill books
  
21 7:00 - 9:00 pm: Book Discussion - Revisit A Drinking Life and Snow in August
 
Columbus Dispatch editor Ben Marrison to meet with Bexley High School journalism students and Torch staff to discuss Pete Hamill's career as a journalist.
  
22 Dr. Steven Fink, Ohio State University Associate Professor of English, to meet with Bexley High School literature students to discuss the Golem myth in literature, especially Hamill's Snow in August.

On April 30, 2008, Pete Hamill will visit Bexley-at Bexley High School during the day, at a private sponsor dinner at Giuseppe's Ritrovo, and at a 7:30 p.m. community-wide presentation moderated by Andrea Cambern and held at The Schottenstein Theatre of Bexley High School.
