The Bexley High School Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest honor to be bestowed upon a Bexley High School graduate in recognition of excellence in their profession and service to the community. The Emerging Leader Award honors outstanding young alumni who are on an exciting path to personal and professional achievement. Every two years, the Foundation hosts an event to honor these outstanding individuals to recognize their accomplishments and invite them to connect with current BHS students and share their stories of success. 

NOMINATIONS ARE DUE MAY 15, 2025 for Fall 2025. The Foundation will host honorees on the Monday before Thanksgiving (November 24th, 2025) at a special assembly for High School students.

Past honorees are listed on our website. Nominations are accepted using an online form. The next class of honorees will be selected in June 2025.

To be nominated, alumni must have distinguished themselves through professional achievement, service, and/or contributions to society. 

     DAA Nominees must have graduated from BHS at least 20 years ago.

     Emerging Leaders will have graduated less than 20 years ago.

     The award will not be presented posthumously.  

     Previous nominations will be considered.

     Alumni may not nominate themselves
